If there's one way to get people to see your movie, it's telling them to go see it. Literally.
At least this is what comedians Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne had in mind when they filmed these exclusive videos telling people to check out their latest project. The funny ladies appear in the upcoming comedy, "In a World…," which was written, directed and produced by actress Lake Bell. Oh, and did we mention that she stars in it, too? Sheeesh.
"In a World…" follows Carol (Lake Bell), a struggling vocal coach who decides to enter the world of movie trailer narration. But her aspirations to become a voiceover star are cut short when she realizes her biggest competition is none other than her own father, the industry's reigning king. The film, which won Best Screenplay at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, also stars Fred Melamend, Demetri Martin, Michaela Watkins and Ken Marino.
"In a World…" hits theaters August 9. (And you better watch it ... or else Tig's gonna come find you, you "sicko.")
